Methane Monitoring and Control Plan. Reconstruction & Major
Intersection Improvements, Connecticut Route 4 at SR 531
Farmington, State Project No. 51-249, 51-25
EnviroScience provided design and monitoring services for
potential exposures to ground gases/vapors generated during this
road project. The project included road widening and re-routing,
resulting in ledge and soil removal in the vicinity of a capped
landfill. The EnviroScience plan provided health and safety
controls especially for methane, for which a specific sub-plan
was prepared. EnviroScience monitored the project under these
plans throughout soils/ledge disturbance and for work in
excavations. |
